Hand Strengthening Toolkit for Children

Hand strength is required for everyday tasks which children complete. This includes playing, handwriting, dressing and eating.

Hand strength is developed over time, and something that children can be challenged by. Our "Hand Strengthening OT Toolkit for Children" gives children the tools to build on and refine their hand strength, focusing on dexterity and fine motor skills. Our instruction booklets, activity cards and toolkits are carefully designed by occupational therapists, with over 70 activities included. Our vision is that we give you all the tools required to begin maxamising occupational function.

This toolkit has been created to make each activity enjoyable through a 'play based approach'. It can be used alongside current therapy interventions, or as a fun way of receiving beneficial developmental and sensory input.
